We’ve been impressed with Flower & Bee Synergy, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others? My business was a huge risk for me to take but it has been well worth the challenge even now during COVID and the shutdowns. During my time pregnant with my son, I was in an abusive relationship and a few years later I thankfully found the courage to get out and found myself as a single mom. It has been challenging even the dreaming part. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect? This synergy carries a high vibe quality that unique in the clean beauty market.Ĭan you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Today, Flower & Bee Synergy is dedicated to sourcing truly minimally-processed, organic, heirloom, pufa-free plant lipids, and supports bee-keepers who put bees first. It’s a communion of nature’s perfect design and intentional living. Flower & Bee Synergy is more than skincare. That flame grew as I established my business in the summer of 2019. Lip Nectar was born from a vibrant place in my heart designed with a respect for nature and the skins microbiome. I anointed my lips with this combination and grew a desire to share it with my community. A synergy was born when I selected precious plant materials, local honey and beeswax. With this, I felt a sense of urgency and responsibility to create truly clean beauty wellness products. In the beginning, I started with what I had access to and with that experience I learned how to carefully identify rancid butters like shea butter, compromised essential oils and ingredients disguised as natural. For nearly a decade I have adorned my lips in high vibrational lipids and local honey. I stumbled through creating hundreds of recipes but I decided early on that I would do as much homemaking so that my family could live a cleaner and healthy lifestyle to reduce our toxin exposure. After my initial shock, I went straight to my kitchen and began cooking my own potions. I was taken back by the fact that a large portion of products on shelfs whether it be food, skincare or beauty, were intentionally laced with toxic fillers, GMO’s, synthetic fragrances, artificial colors, and cut with inferior ingredients while labeled “all natural”. Before my son made it earth side, I began to research ingredients extensively and most importantly the ethics (synergy) behind them. I dove deep in the wonder-full world of nature’s ingredients. It was my invitation to living an intentional lifestyle. The birth of my son did more for my expansion than I ever believed was possible. Vanessa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. To help you narrow down your references, we rounded up the coolest flower tattoos and floral designs from our favorite artists and asked them to share the meaning behind each.Today we’d like to introduce you to Vanessa De La Cruz. “Since it lasts a lifetime, you need to choose where you want it,” he adds. “There are no rules for choosing placement, but sometimes I’ll recommend where the design would work well,” he says. Hongdam recommends coming in with some reference images that show the exact style you want, then thinking about how you’d like your tattoo to look on your body. “I think they can be a good design for anyone.” “A lot of my inquiries are for flower tattoos because of the different meanings behind them,” says Seoul-based artist Hongdam, whose meticulously detailed sketches and delicate aesthetic have made him popular globally. And since they tend to carry connotations of positive things (like love, new beginnings, and happiness), chances are very low that you’ll want to remove them one day. At the same time, they’re also just as pretty when enlarged to cover your torso or arms. They can easily be scaled down to the dainty sizes trending on Instagram over the past few years. Florals of all kinds tend to be a popular pick across the country, especially for clients just starting out. If you like your ink with a side of symbolism and hidden meaning, flower tattoos are the way to go.
